Cosmetic Tattoo explained?

Also known as Permanent makeup, micro-pigmentation, permanent cosmetics, derma pigmentation. Cosmetic Tattooing is a safe cosmetic application. The high-grade pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. The reasons why people choose permanent makeup are many. Therefore the popularity in cosmetic tattoo procedure has been increasing for both women and men. The fact is simple: permanent cosmetics is an effective way to enhance your natural look; it is not about changing your look. Cosmetic tattoo saves time and makes your life easier. You are waking up every day with perfect makeup. Cosmetic Tattooing is excellent if you have a sporty lifestyle.

What happens at the consultation?

During the consultation, the colour will be matched to your natural hair colour and skin tone using her extensive selection of beautiful medical grade mineral pigment colours. Karen will analyze your face shape and use her artistic skills to pre-draw (brow mapping) a brow shape using a traditional brow pencil. This process is done to ensure that you are happy with the desired shape and colour. Once the shape has been designed this template is used to implant the pigment colour into the skin using the state of art electronic precision hand piece.

Why choose Cosmetic Eyebrow Tattooing?

Cosmetic Tattooing is an excellent option for the busy person who has little or no time to apply conventional makeup daily. Imagine waking up every day with a fresh, natural look. Cosmetic Tattooing is an excellent choice for athletes, people that have allergic reactions to over the counter makeup products or even the vision impaired, but mostly for convenience!

What are Feather Strokes? Also known as Microblading.

This is one of the most requested brow techniques and creates a beautifully subtle brow. Karen has perfected a method with permanent makeup to create fine hair strokes that simulate natural hair growth. Expertly applied through the existing brows to balance asymmetrical eyebrows, redesign, widen and lengthen or for filling in gaps. For clients with no brows due to over tweezing, hormones, alopecia, chemotherapy Karen will create a redesigned brow shape using fine hair strokes and some subtle powdering technique to create a 3D effect. Karen’s perfected techniques will give you beautifully shaped brows unique to you.

What are Powdered Brows/Shaded Brows

This method provides a combination of expertly applied hair strokes together with soft or bold shading to redefine and emphasize the shape, symmetry, and arch. Karen is often asked for celebrity look brows or high definition brows. This shape offers a lifted curve or arch depending on the client’s natural bone structure and what is achievable. The tail can be lifted to provide a youthful, refreshed appearance to the face. This technique can be adapted from subtle elegant to stunning bold perfection.

What are Pixel Brows?

Pixel Brows is the technique of pixel-based shadowing for eyebrows performed by a tattoo machine.Using this technique, you can achieve the effect of light make-up eyebrows or light shade from the natural hair. The idea of this technique is to get a slight shading and leave the skin as intact as possible. To do this, we alternate the pigment point with the point of living genuine skin. This technique is suitable for those clients who prefer the effect of light make-up of eyebrows, made with shadows or light shadows from their natural eyebrow hairs. This technique can be combined with the feather strokes/microblading if some parts of the eyebrow do not have enough natural hairs.
