How does the LED mask work? The LED mask emits a (UV free) light in specific wavelengths to treat the skin for different benefits. Most masks in the market have three lights, but our next generation masks have 7!
RED (Anti-Wrinkle): Promotes collagen production to smooth fine wrinkles on tender skin
BLUE (Acne Healer): Suppresses inflammation by effectively removing acne and repairs skin without leaving scars or pigments
GREEN (Skin Balancer): Calm and purify the skin by giving balance in reducing oily skin and preventing spots
YELLOW (Immunity Enhancer): Replenish energy to skin cells by decomposing pigments, improving rough skin and reducing redness (rosacea)
PURPLE (Pore Minimiser): Combine the efficiency of red and blue light, to repair acne, heal scars and minimise pores
CLEAR BLUE (Promotes Metabolism): Gradually enhance cell energy, accelerating blood circulation and cell metabolism. Promotes face whitening
LASER WHITE (Reduces Sagging Skin): Penetrates the skin to accelerate active tissues to improve sagging skin and decompose colour spots.
Does it hurt when using the LED mask, and is it safe?
We've been told to avoid the sun's UV rays for healthier skin, so it can feel counter-intuitive to intentionally treat your face with light. But dermatologists have deemed LED light treatments are safe and effective for your complexion regardless of skin colour, and it is non-invasive and painless when used as intended.
Is eye protection required?
The at-home LED masks are less powerful than the treatments you would typically get at a clinic. We recommend that you close your eyes during each treatment and relax, but it is entirely safe for use without eye protection and multitask while completing treatment.
How long will it take to see results?
The at-home LED masks are less powerful than the treatments you would typically get at a clinic, and this means you can use the devices safely but may take longer to see visible results. Many customers begin to notice improvements in their skin after 4-5 treatments, with desired results after 12 treatments. Use your LED mask at least three times a week for the first 12 weeks.
It's important to note that results may vary as everyone's skin is different.
Is the LED mask safe while pregnant and breastfeeding?
Please consult your health care professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. While the at-home LED masks are less powerful than the treatments you would typically get at a clinic, there has not been enough research on their use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
